I'm the founder of HEY FEYB. As a professional who has spent years in design, architecture, and marketing across different cultures, I set out to solve a problem I was personally experiencing!
As a woman who wears size 43 shoes, I've spent years searching for shoes that fit my taste and fit me perfectly. I've gone through countless times where I've had to compromise on my style or comfort because my size simply didn't fit the fashion industry's mold!
I also knew this wasn't just a problem for me. Like me, there were many women who were used to leaving their shopping empty-handed. I truly wanted to break this cycle, and with the belief that large-sized shoes could be both stylish and comfortable, I took the first steps toward HEY FEYB. My goal wasn't just to create a product; it was to show that large-sized shoes could also be elegant.
I have now decided to utilize my education in economics and design and the professional experience I have gained in different disciplines of architecture and design in a different field.
I founded HEY FEYB to provide a solution to a need I personally experienced.
HEY FEYB is not just a shoe brand; it is an approach that explains that freedom, elegance and comfort are possible together.
At HEY FEYB, each pair is handcrafted entirely from premium genuine leather, in small batches, by our master craftsmen in our Istanbul workshop, with the true needs of women who wear plus-size shoes in mind, away from the exclusionary nature of mass production. We consciously avoid overproduction and focus on producing what's truly needed. For us, fashion isn't something to be consumed quickly; it's a space that meets needs.
At HEY FEYB, we have various business models and numerous innovations we're eager to implement. However, our priority is to liberate women who wear large shoes from these stereotypes that deny them the opportunity for choice.
We have a long road ahead of us; this is just the beginning.
